Traveling Technician Assistant (Temporary)

Agclean Inc. is seeking a dependable Traveling Technician Assistant to join our team for a temporary position expected to last approximately 3–4 months. This position works directly alongside one of our Lead Traveling Technicians, assisting with industrial tank cleaning at agricultural and industrial facilities throughout the Midwest.

If you enjoy traveling, working with your hands, and being part of a small team, this may be a great opportunity. No previous tank cleaning experience is required—we are willing to train the right person.

Pay & Benefits

· $20.00 per hour

· Overtime paid at 1.5× your hourly rate after 40 hours

· Significant overtime is likely during the busy season

Travel Schedule

This position typically travels Monday through Friday, returning home on weekends. Occasionally, leaving on a Sunday may be requested to accommodate travel schedules, but it is not normally required.

Applicants should enjoy traveling and be comfortable spending several hours driving or riding between customer locations.

What You’ll Do

Working as part of a two-person crew, you’ll assist the Lead Technician with all aspects of industrial tank cleaning, including:

· Driving company cargo vans to and from customer locations

· Assisting with equipment setup and teardown

· Operating pressure washing equipment

· Connecting and disconnecting hoses

· Operating pumps and valves

· Raising and lowering tools and buckets using ladders when needed

· Assisting with loading and unloading equipment

· Keeping equipment organized and work areas clean

· Following instructions from the Lead Technician to safely complete each job

· Representing Agclean professionally at customer facilities

No two days are exactly the same. You’ll visit different facilities throughout the region and work in a variety of industrial and agricultural environments.

Work Environment

This is a physically active position performed both indoors and outdoors. Employees should expect to work in:

· Hot, cold, wet, humid, or dusty conditions

· Agricultural and industrial facilities

· Around chemical storage tanks and related equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Some days involve several hours of physical work, while other days involve several hours of travel between job sites.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

· Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record

· Be comfortable driving full-size cargo vans

· Be dependable and punctual

· Be willing to travel Monday through Friday

· Be able to work overtime as needed

· Be comfortable following safety procedures and instructions

· Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Work well as part of a two-person team

No previous experience is required, but experience in construction, farming, industrial work, pressure washing, maintenance, mechanical work, or other physically demanding jobs is helpful.

Physical Requirements

Applicants should be able to:

· Lift and carry up to 50 pounds

· Climb ladders safely

· Walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods

· Perform physically demanding work throughout the day

· Safely work around industrial equipment

Required Clothing

Employees must provide:

· Steel-toe or composite-toe work boots

· Jeans or other durable long pants

· Clean, non-offensive shirts suitable for customer job sites

Professional Expectations

Safety and professionalism are essential to this position. Employees are expected to follow company safety procedures, work closely with the Lead Technician, and represent Agclean professionally while at customer facilities.

Personal cell phone use should be limited to breaks or emergencies. Cell phone use while driving company vehicles is strictly prohibited.
