What You’ll Lead
- Daily supervision of our Machine Shop team
- Training, mentoring, and developing machinists at all levels
- Setting goals, writing evaluations, and coaching for growth
- Driving 5S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement
- Coordinating production schedules and cross‑department communication
- Supporting operators with real‑time problem solving
- Ensuring safety, quality, and delivery performance
- Occasionally jumping in on the machines to help hit targets
What You Bring
- Experience leading a production or machine shop team
- Strong CNC and manual machining knowledge (Haas experience a plus)
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools
- Solid understanding of Lean concepts (5S, Kaizen, Kanban)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely
- Strong communication and people‑development skills
