Responsibilities
The Safety Engineer will oversee the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures across all AGC locations. This includes conducting regular training sessions, coordinating with facility leaders, and working closely with the Alfa Laval Environmental, Health and Safety Team US to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, this individual will inspect facilities quarterly to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective measures, and follow up to ensure they are implemented.
The Safety Engineer will also identify gaps in safety protocols and ensure local facilities post signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards. Furthermore, this person will assist with online systems such as PEC, PICS, ISNworld, MSDSOnline, etc. to manage safety data, training records, and compliance documentation.
