Shipping associate/Material handler

Principle Responsibilities:

• Ensures safety of self and others within production area and is responsible for notifying supervisor or safety team of any and all safety concerns

• Certified to operate a fork truck in a safe and efficient manner (both stand up or sit down trucks)

• Performs checks to ensure fork trucks are maintained and inspected daily

• Maintains 5S standards which includes general cleaning, correct placement of tools, etc.

• Train and maintain current training on all associate procedures and standards

• Demonstrates AGC Way in all aspect of responsibilities

• Other duties or projects as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to learn to utilize problem solving tools such as Six Sigma, Fishbone, KT, 8D, etc.

• Basic knowledge of windows computer system

• Ability to operate a fork truck (both stand up and sit down trucks)

• Previous manufacturing/forklift experience preferred

• High School diploma or GED required
