Agawam South RehabNursing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical RecordsCentral Supply Coordinator (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. This full-time position plays a key role in maintaining accurate resident records while ensuring nursing staff have the supplies needed to deliver high-quality care.
Position Overview
This dual-role position combines medical records management with central supply coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Records Duties:
- Sort, prep, scan, and review resident charts
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records
- Ensure proper identification and handling of all documentation
- Follow all release of information guidelines and regulations
Central Supply Duties:
- Order and maintain appropriate stock levels of nursing supplies
- Accept and verify deliveries against purchase orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical storage area
- Distribute supplies to nursing units and monitor for overstock
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting required
- Skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff across departments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
