What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant General Manager position at Agave & Rye?
SOB – Son of a Butcher isn’t your grandfather’s steakhouse. We’ve redefined the dining experience with bold energy, top-tier hospitality, and a passion for culinary and beverage excellence. From award-winning desserts to curated wines and perfectly executed steaks, every detail matters—and so does every leader on our team.
We're inspired by the greats—Danny Meyer’s enlightened hospitality and Will Guidara’s “unreasonable” service philosophy—but we deliver it with edge and swagger. Our space is expressive, electric, and full of life, and our mission is simple: serve steak with soul and hospitality with heart.
As part of Epic Brands, we live and lead by six core values:
- LOVE – We treat each other like family
- COMMUNITY – We give back and show up for our neighborhoods
- EXCEED EXPECTATIONS – We don’t aim for okay—we aim for EPIC
- EPIC HOSPITALITY – Five-star service without pretense
- INSPIRE – We ignite joy and creativity in our team and guests
- RESPECT – For ourselves, each other, and the world around us
