Agate Security, Inc. is looking for qualified candidates for ARMED positions located in Beverly Hills
Full-Time and Part Time available, bear in mind we also have other armed locations available. Please inquire upon interviewing.
All black tactical gear. Carrier vest with plates are required.
Responsibilities and Duties: Qualified Candidates
- Monitor premises to prevent disturbance and/or violent conduct, or infractions of rules
- Patrol facility or stand post as instructed and serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in improper conduct, suspicious or criminal acts.
- Report any issues such as theft, unathorized entry, and disturbances.
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
- Maintain professionalism during the duration of detail.
- Observe and write reports of irregularities, such as property or equipment damage, presence of unauthorized persons, theft, or unusual occurrences.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Report all incidents, accidents, or emergencies as required. Act as a first responder to any emergencies or suspicious activities.
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Maintain a secured environment for all at the location.
>> Qualified candidates must also have the following:
- Must have OWN firearm (either 9mm or .40 cal) w/ 3 magazines and gun barrel must be minimum 4" (If hired as an armed guard)
- Duty belt
- Baton [expandable or side handle) w/ baton holder (If required to carry baton)
- Pepper Spray w/ Pouch (If carrying pepper spray)
- Magazine Pouch (If carrying firearm)
- Handcuffs w/ handcuff case and key (If you have a permit)
- Level 2 (rotating hood or thumb release] weapon holster
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- BSIS GUARD CARD
- BSIS EXPOSED FIREARM PERMIT
- Baton PERMIT is a PLUS
- Pepper Spray PERMIT is a PLUS
- First Aid/CPR PERMIT
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Drug-Free
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
- Must have reliable means of communication and reliable means of transportation
- Adhere to professional grooming standards
- Have a clean criminal background
- Professional attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Security, military, or law enforcement background is preferred.
