Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies using both manual and automated test equipment.
- Utilize surface mount technology (SMT) techniques for assembling and inspecting surface-mounted components on PCBs.
- Conduct quality control and assurance checks, including visual inspections with automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and adherence to IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- Collect and analyze data from tests to identify defects, trends, or potential improvements in manufacturing processes.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and ohmmeters to verify component dimensions and electrical properties.
- Debug faulty assemblies by analyzing schematics, circuit diagrams, and test results; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Support manufacturing by using hand tools, soldering equipment, and mechanical knowledge to assist in assembly or rework tasks when necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency in surface mount technology (SMT) assembly and inspection techniques.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and quality assurance standards, including IPC 610 certification requirements.
- Experience with PCB design schematics, troubleshooting, and debugging electronic circuits.
- Familiarity with automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and test automation tools.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, micrometers, and ohmmeters accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge related to electronic component handling, soldering techniques, and assembly processes.

Education/Experience:
Required: High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of five (5) years' experience in the natural oil/gas or related industry. Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree. The level of education can be compensated by the years of experience.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
