Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, promoting independence while maintaining safety and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Document medical information accurately, including changes in client health status.
- Support clients in engaging in social activities and community outings.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client adherence to medication schedules.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or home health preferred.
- STNA License preferred
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable.
- Strong caregiving skills with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to assist clients with daily living tasks while promoting independence.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Must be reliable, compassionate, and patient-oriented.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not required.
