STNA/ Caregiver Night Shift

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, memory care facilities, and behavioral health environments. As an STNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
• Provide support in a Level II trauma center or ICU setting as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively.
• Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
• Engage with patients in memory care and behavioral health settings to promote mental well-being.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for all patients by adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant certification.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred, particularly in ICU or trauma care.
• Familiarity with medical records management systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and provide patient support as needed.
• Knowledge of home community care practices is advantageous.
