Description
A loving and welcoming Dallas family is seeking a highly experienced, education-focused Professional Nanny & Early Childhood Specialist to care for their three children — a bright and independent 7-year-old and affectionate 16-month-old twins. The family is looking for a knowledgeable caregiver who combines nurturing care with intentional teaching, helping their little ones meet developmental milestones and establish a lifelong love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, developmentally focused care for three children (ages 7 and 16 months).
- Design and implement early learning activities and lessons for the twins, incorporating literacy, sensory play, motor skill development, and foundational concepts (colors, shapes, numbers, language, etc.).
- Track and support the twins’ developmental milestones through intentional observation and documentation.
- Create a structured daily schedule that balances learning, play, rest, and outdoor exploration.
- Support the 7-year-old with after-school routines, homework, and age-appropriate enrichment.
- Prepare healthy snacks and simple, nutritious meals for the children.
- Maintain clean, organized, and child-ready play and learning areas.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with parents regarding progress, routines, and new learning goals.
Qualifications & Professional Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny or childcare experience (experience with twins or multiples preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field strongly preferred.
- CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential or ECE (Early Childhood Education) Certification required or in progress.
- Newborn Care Training Academy Certification or equivalent specialized training a plus.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified (required or willing to obtain prior to start).
- Proven experience as a Professional Nanny, Private Educator, or Early Childhood Specialist with a focus on intentional teaching and milestone support.
- Strong understanding of early learning frameworks, age-appropriate curriculum planning, and developmental observation.
- Excellent communication, reliability, and professionalism in a private home setting.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Compensation & Schedule
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Start Date: Within 2–3 weeks
- Compensation: $25–$30/hour, based on education, certifications, and experience
