What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Technician - 2nd Shift position at Agape Plastics, Inc.?
Agape Plastics, a leading supplier of injection-molded parts to the automotive industry, has an immediate opening for a process technician on 2nd Shift.
The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of injection molding experience. Experience with automotive parts is a plus.
Responsibilities/job duties will include the following:
- Communicate with Supervisor, Lead Tech and Manufacturing Engineers both verbally and written
- Start-up and shut-down multiple machines daily following shift and/or mold changes
- Troubleshoot injection molding machines/processing problems on machines ranging from 85T - 1650T and correct in timely manner
- Troubleshoot end-of-arm tooling and 3-axis robot programs as needed to correct problems in production
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
- Minor troubleshooting/maintenance of auxiliary and assembly equipment
- Hi-lo license required
- Strong attention to detail and safety focused
- Daily documentation of processes
- Ability to follow standard procedures as outlined in Quality Manual
- Must be able to assist setup techs in the changing of molds if needed
- Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
