While working in our kitchen you will be impacting the life of our clients by making sure that our kitchen procedures and regulations are being followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare food meal served for program residents.
- Plans and directs the amount of food to prepare, the recipes to be followed,
- the preparation methods and the utilization of leftover foods.
- Assume responsibility for Kitchen equipment and proper food storage.
- Prepares weekly menus and submits to the coordinators.
- Checks and replenishes food as needed.
- Always keep the food equipment and preparation area clean.
- Follows weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Perform security checks of kitchen and areas.
- Performs routine duties associated with food services (i.e., cleaning of pantries, utensil containers, cabinets, and any items pertaining to food services).
- Prepares all food item for all designed meals.
- Ensure that all food is properly covered and stored.
- Conduct weekly food inventory and order.
- Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma and/or experience in the field.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Weekend availability.
