While working in our kitchen you will be impacting the life of our clients by making sure that our kitchen procedures and regulations are being followed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare food meal served for program residents.
• Plans and directs the amount of food to prepare, the recipes to be followed,
• the preparation methods and the utilization of leftover foods.
• Assume responsibility for Kitchen equipment and proper food storage.
• Prepares weekly menus and submits to the coordinators.
• Checks and replenishes food as needed.
• Always keep the food equipment and preparation area clean.
• Follows weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Perform security checks of kitchen and areas.
• Performs routine duties associated with food services (i.e., cleaning of pantries, utensil containers, cabinets, and any items pertaining to food services).
• Prepares all food item for all designed meals.
• Ensure that all food is properly covered and stored.
• Conduct weekly food inventory and order.
• Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma and/or experience in the field.
