What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice Optician/Opthalmic Technician position at Agape Eye Care?
Busy Optometrist office looking for a friendly multi-tasker with excellent communication skills interested in learning the field of opticianry. Ideal candidate will be professional in greeting our patients, business associates, and vendors whether on the telephone or in person and will keep our work area organized and running smoothly with a positive, upbeat attitude. Must be experienced in basic computer skills. Applicant would also do some pre-testing of patients and order entry. Career progression available through the NYS apprentice program to obtain a license in Opthalmic dispensing (Opticianry).

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
