Position Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide leadership, supervision, and oversight of counseling services in a licensed substance use disorder program. This role focuses on clinical quality, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance in accordance with N.J.A.C. 10:161B. This is a hands-on leadership role with limited administrative burden.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- LCSW, LCADC, CCS
Acceptable:
- LCADC, CCS
Required:
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
- Active NJ license in good standing
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of NJAC 10:161B, ASAM, and co-occurring treatment
Responsibilities
- Provide weekly clinical supervision to counseling staff
- Review and approve assessments, treatment plans, and documentation
- Lead case conferences and clinical meetings
- Conduct chart audits and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support staff development, training, and performance improvement
- Oversee intakes and client assignments
- Maintain a limited caseload (as needed)
- Ensure compliance with EHR, NJSAMS, and documentation timelines
- Collaborate with administration and external partners (Drug Court, IDRC, etc.)
- Support program readiness for audits and inspections

Pay: $68,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
