Role Description
This is a full-time position based in Norfolk, VA. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will create and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and provide direct one-on-one support to clients. The role also involves collaborating with families and caregivers to deliver parent education, developing strategies for effective behavior management, and contributing to the overall success of clients. Data collection and progress monitoring will be central to ensuring positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Knowledge of Behavior Management strategies and interventions
- Skills in Psychology and understanding principles of human behavior
- Experience in Parent Education and collaboration with caregivers
- Active BCBA certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with children and families in community or clinical settings preferred
- Master’s degree in related fields such as Psychology, Education, or Behavior Analysis
