Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Embellish our cuisine with tableside flambe,
- Present menus, recommend dishes, and upsell specialty items to enhance guest enjoyment and increase sales
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems , ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks with precision, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times
Experience
- Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills
- Previous host/host or serving experience in a hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of the food industry’s best practices in upselling, guest services, and restaurant operations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
