Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary representative of the company within an assigned territory, driving sales of agricultural machinery and equipment
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with large-scale farming operations and key accounts
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all equipment products, including features, benefits, and applications for modern agricultural operations
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Monitor market trends, customer business activities, and competitive products, providing timely insights to management
- Accurately maintain customer and sales activity records within company systems
- Evaluate used equipment and determine trade-in values based on current market conditions
- Assist customers in securing financing by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available programs and options
- Participate in ongoing training, industry events, and professional development opportunities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Proven experience in agricultural equipment sales, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with large-scale or commercial farming operations
- Solid understanding of modern agricultural practices, equipment applications, and industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Proficiency with standard business software, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including seasonal demands
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
