Position: Agricultural Equipment Sales Representative (Large Agriculture Focus)

We are seeking a results-driven sales professional with extensive experience in large-scale agriculture to join our team. This role is responsible for selling new and used agricultural and outdoor power equipment to both existing and prospective customers, while building long-term relationships within the agricultural community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary representative of the company within an assigned territory, driving sales of agricultural machinery and equipment

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with large-scale farming operations and key accounts

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all equipment products, including features, benefits, and applications for modern agricultural operations

  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions to maximize productivity and efficiency

  • Monitor market trends, customer business activities, and competitive products, providing timely insights to management

  • Accurately maintain customer and sales activity records within company systems

  • Evaluate used equipment and determine trade-in values based on current market conditions

  • Assist customers in securing financing by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available programs and options

  • Participate in ongoing training, industry events, and professional development opportunities

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in agricultural equipment sales, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with large-scale or commercial farming operations

  • Solid understanding of modern agricultural practices, equipment applications, and industry trends

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships

  • Proficiency with standard business software, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends

  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including seasonal demands

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
