Agronomy Internship - Summer 2026
Open to all grades/years
**Must have major/minor in Ag-related field**
Crop Scouting- Perform stand counts and growth staging
- Monitor fields for weed escapes, insect outbreaks, and disease pressure
- Use satellite imagery to assess field health and guide scouting efforts
- Complete a report for each field scouted
- Share findings with both customers and your supervisor

Drones
- Attend an FAA Remote Pilot Class (Part 107 license to be obtained on your own time)
- Work directly with our Drone Division
- Receive a scouting drone at the start of the internship to use all summer—and keep it at the end!

Ag Trial Plots
- Assist with planting, applications, record keeping, and overall plot maintenance

Management, Sales, and Application
- Gain exposure to all aspects of agronomy operations

Agronomy Events
- Attend workshops, courses, and field days to expand your knowledge of agronomy
- Meet/talk with other industry professionals & partners

Deliveries

Assist with transporting products between Ag Plus locations
- Must have a valid driver's license

Research Project
- Select an agronomic topic of interest
- Conduct research and collect data throughout the summer
- Present your findings at the conclusion of the internship
Program Details
- Pay: $16.00/ hr
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Timeframe: Early to mid-May (after school ends) through mid-August (before school resumes).
- Housing: Dorms available for rent at Huntington University if you are not local to an Ag Plus location.
