Job Description
- Daytona Beach General Contractor has immediate openings for EXPERIENCED Construction Carpenters for local work.
- Full-time, long-term positions
- Drug Free Work Place = Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening. WE DO TEST.
- Because we do government contracts, you also must be able to pass a nationwide Background Check. No Felonies.
- Own Tools, Drivers License and Reliable Transportation Required

Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
- Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
- Lay out flooring, roofing, drywall etc. ensuring they are leveled and compatible
Skills
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Knowledgeable in Residential, Commercial and Historical Construction
- Good knowledge of English
- Good understanding of basic math
- Good physical condition and endurance
