We're looking for a skilled, reliable Mechanic to join our team and support the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a diverse fleet - including automobiles, trucks, tractors, RTVs, and specialized farm equipment such as Bauer irrigation reels. The ideal candidate brings strong diagnostic ability, hands-on expertise, and a commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and computer-based issues across a wide range of vehicles and machinery.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning components to restore safe, reliable operation.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Work on-site or off-site as needed, including occasional after-hours on-call support.
- Follow all company, safety, and environmental standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing engines, brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, and onboard computer systems.
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to stay current with evolving technologies.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining repairs and setting clear expectations.
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and consistent safety awareness.
- Experience with farm machinery and vehicles, including tractors, RTVs, and irrigation reels
- Deep understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, gas, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Welding and fabrication experience required.
- CDL preferred

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy components; comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
- Meticulous recordkeeping and attention to detail.
