Position: Agronomist Entry Level

Department: Ag Technology Solutions

Reports To: Senior Agronomist

Status: Non-Exempt/FT

SUMMARY: This position is an entry level agronomist to share responsibilities in our expanding Ag Technology Solutions Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Client interaction
• Selling from a menu of services
• Processing information with geographic information systems software
• Creation of variable rate application maps
• Soil sampling
• Soil mapping
• Crop scouting
• Crop issue diagnosis
• Plant tissue sampling

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or equivalent experience
• Experience: Entry level
• SMS software experience desired
• Computer Skills Required - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
