Washburn Rural High School is seeking a passionate and innovative Agriculture Education Instructor to join our dynamic Career & Technical Education department. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in brand new, state-of-the-art agricultural science facilities designed to provide students with real-world, hands-on learning experiences. This role lets you shape and grow a premier agricultural education program in facilities that support innovation, inquiry, and experiential learning.

WRHS Ag Science Facilities include:

• A fully automated greenhouse equipped with advanced environmental control systems
• A modern Ag Science classroom and laboratory space designed for hands-on instruction
• Specialized instructional areas supporting all agriculture pathways
• Industry-grade equipment and technology that mirrors today's agricultural workforce
• Office space dedicated to the Ag Science instructor

The WRHS FFA chapter is an integral part of our Agriculture program and pathways. Our FFA program plays a vital role in developing student leadership, career readiness, and community involvement. The Agriculture Instructor will serve as an FFA Advisor, supporting:

• Leadership development
• Career development
• Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs)
• Community engagement and outreach
• Competitive teams and state/national conventions
