Overview
As Respite Mentor, you will create a nurturing environment that encourages growth, confidence, and well-being to a child. You will be hired directly by the family to provide support to a child in need. They are your employer, this is not an Agency position!

Schedule-
Flexible PT schedule to be determined- A plus if you are available on weekends!
The right candidate will have availability during the evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Engage with child by attending and transporting to and from their favorite places!
- Provide safe supervision and assistance during respite sessions, ensuring the physical and emotional safety of participants at all times
- Support their developing social skills, independence, and self-esteem through mentoring and teaching activities
- Assist with transportation arrangements or outings as needed
Requirements
- Passion for working with children and individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
Pay: $17.97 per hour
