- Inspect, diagnose, and repair potato piler equipment, electrical systems, and other components.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Site work at potato cellars to keep equipment operating.
- Maintain and repair small tractors.
- Help relocate pilers between cellars.
Job Requirements:
- 1 years of experience in diesel mechanics or working with heavy-duty trucks preferred (but willing to train the right candidate).
- Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand/power tools.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a plus but not required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
