- Perform structural analysis and design for various sectors
- Work under the direction of a licensed professional engineer and collaborate with project teams
- Assist with selection of materials, structural systems, and preparation of notes and details
- Prepare structural specifications and coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines
- Deliver calculations and documentation on schedule and within budget
- Support construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
- Perform site observations and prepare reports as needed
- Support senior engineers on large-scale projects
- Assist with internal training and knowledge sharing
- Coordinate tasks for support staff and review work of junior engineers
- Participate in client meetings, documentation, and business development activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis) and Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineer (structural emphasis) required
- Actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) license in state of residence
- Minimum 2 years of experience (may be reduced with advanced degree or licensure)
- Experience with concrete, steel, masonry, and wood preferred
- Knowledge of building codes and structural design standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with RAM Structural System or Tekla Structural Designer, Revit, and BIM 360
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to quality, accountability, and continuous learning
