AFX Lighting is seeking a motivated Product Manager to help drive the development, launch, and lifecycle of our lighting product portfolio. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their product career who’s passionate about the lighting industry and eager to grow through hands‑on mentorship.
As a Product Manager, you’ll collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to bring new products to market and support the long-term success of existing lines. You’ll blend strategic thinking with strong communication and organizational skills to ensure our products meet market needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development Support
• Assist with NPD timelines and coordinate cross-functional activities
• Support creation of product specifications, documentation, and briefs
• Collaborate on prototypes, samples, and product testing feedback
• Review customer and market insights to drive enhancements
Product Lifecycle Management
• Track product performance, sales trends, and inventory levels
• Maintain accurate product data across systems and digital platforms
• Assist with SKU setup, pricing updates, and specification revisions
Sales & Marketing Collaboration
• Support creation of spec sheets, digital assets, and product materials
• Prepare internal and customer-facing presentations and training
• Provide product support for sales, customer service, and rep partners
Market Research
• Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and technology shifts
• Gather customer insights to support product roadmap planning
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field
• 5–7 years of experience in product management, marketing, or project coordination
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data analysis
• Comfort using digital and AI‑assisted tools for research, documentation, and reporting
• Ability to use AI tools for market research, competitive comparisons, documentation, and internal communications
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate AI-generated outputs
• Familiarity with product documentation (spec sheets, CAD, BOMs, testing reports)
