Description:IT Systems & Support AdministratorAFX is seeking an IT Systems & Support Administrator to serve as the primary technical support resource within a small IT team. Reporting to the Manager of IT, this role is responsible for end-user support, daily IT operations, and core infrastructure administration. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, initiative, and a willingness to grow into broader systems responsibilities.Primary Responsibilities• Serve as the primary helpdesk resource for end-user technical issues. (50 users)• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and business applications.• Manage hardware lifecycle including imaging, deployment, patching, and asset tracking.• Support onboarding and offboarding processes including account provisioning and access control.• Administer and support Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows Server environments.• Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.• Troubleshoot VPN connectivity and network issues (switches, firewall, internal connectivity).• Monitor backups and assist with disaster recovery procedures.• Assist with basic SQL and reporting support as needed.• Document configurations and recurring solutions.If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for technology and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Requirements:Qualifications• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows desktop and server environments.• Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V preferred.• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, firewalls).• Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server preferred.• Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset.• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.
