Responsibilities
- Safely operate your personal vehicle to deliver auto parts across designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers via mobile devices to confirm deliveries, provide updates, and resolve any issues promptly.
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling, hours of service, and safety protocols during transportation.
- Handle heavy lifting with proper manual lifting practices to prevent injury and ensure safe handling of goods.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in delivery driving is highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures, loading/unloading processes, and safe lifting practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients and team members.
- Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and record keeping.
