Compliance Specialist

AfterQuery is seeking Compliance professionals to create and evaluate regulatory reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design realistic compliance scenarios — policy reviews, risk assessments, regulatory interpretations — that test an AI model’s ability to reason through compliance questions rigorously.

Responsibilities

• Develop compliance scenarios, policy-review exercises, and regulatory questions that challenge AI models
• Evaluate and validate model responses for regulatory accuracy and sound judgment
• Collaborate with legal and technical experts to calibrate difficulty and coverage
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience in corporate compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management
• Working knowledge of at least one regulatory regime (financial services, healthcare, data privacy, or similar)
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMS, CRCM, IAPP, or comparable certification
• Experience building or auditing compliance programs
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks is a plus
