Nurse Practitioner – Women’s Health, Hormones, Weight Loss & Aesthetics
After Ours OB/GYN & Urgent Care for Women | Birmingham, AL – Colonnade/Hwy 280
After Ours is seeking a compassionate, dependable Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. Our practice combines gynecologic and urgent care with hormone therapy, medical weight loss, and aesthetic services to help patients feel their best.
We’re looking for someone with strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude who enjoys building patient relationships in a busy outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine and problem-focused gynecologic care, including annual exams, preventive screenings, and contraceptive counseling.
- Evaluate and manage common women’s health concerns and urgent complaints.
- Evaluate hormone-related symptoms, review laboratory results, and manage individualized hormone replacement therapy, including pellet therapy when appropriate.
- Provide medical weight loss consultations, evaluate treatment eligibility, prescribe appropriate medications, and monitor patient progress and side effects.
- Perform aesthetic consultations and treatments, such as Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, and PRP, based on training and experience.
- Educate patients about treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with Dr. William Hudson and our clinical team.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- Active Alabama Nurse Practitioner license and current national certification.
- Experience in women’s health, gynecology, hormone therapy, medical weight loss, or aesthetics preferred.
- Injectable and aesthetic treatment experience is a plus.
- Strong assessment, organizational, and patient communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and expand clinical skills.
- Commitment to compassionate care, teamwork, and patient confidentiality.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday (8-4:30/5) Friday (8-3:30/4)
Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
