Role Description The Senior .NET Developer (Banking) role is a full-time remote position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining banking applications and services using .NET technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, and ensuring application reliability, security, and performance. The role involves collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and other engineers to translate banking requirements into robust technical solutions. The developer will review code, provide technical guidance, and participate in architectural discussions to improve system design. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, writing unit and integration tests, and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming skills, with the ability to design clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Experience developing payment rails (ACH, Wires, RTP, FedNow...etc)
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Software Development using .NET Core, including building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
- Candidates should possess experience working with banking or financial systems, including familiarity with regulatory, security, and compliance considerations.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- Candidates should possess experience with SQL databases, RESTful APIs, version control (e.g., Git), and common design patterns; exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or similar) is beneficial.
Requirements:
- Experience working with banking core APIs
- Experience developing payment rails (ACH, Wires, RTP, FedNow...etc)
- 6 years of C#
- 3 years messaging experience (MSMQ, RabbitMQ, SQS, Azure Service Bus..etc)
- 4 years of PostgreSQL or MSSQL Server
- 3 years working with REST APIs
- Strong communication skills
- Experience or understanding of Domain Driven Design
- Cloud Architecture - preferably AWS
- Docker / Containers
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with messaging frameworks (NServiceBus, MassTransit..etc)
Salary Range: 155-200K
