What are the responsibilities and job description for the English Tutor (In-Person Only) position at After School Programs?

Duties:
- In-person Classes (NO ONLINE)
- Provide tutoring sessions to 3- 4 students in subjects.
- Looking for an SAT/ACT tutor with a proven record of high scores.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans based on the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts and improving their academic performance.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, materials, and resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Assess student progress and adjust tutoring strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Humanities or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in English being tutored.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development.
