Aftercare Full -Time Manager

Aftercare Full time 12 month position: Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of an orderly, safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground and in other designated locations by helping and supervising staff and students during authorized after school programs in accordance with After School Connections policy and established school procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees Day-to-Day Operations of Aftercare Program

· Oversees registration of students into program on our website. PROCARE efficient.

· Provide direct supervision of site to counselors and children.

· Oversees proper student check-in and dismissal procedures for aftercare.

· Communicate effectively to parents. Ensure their knowledge of program policies, fees, field trips and special events.

· Oversees behavior concerns, accidents and site incidents. Submits reports, maintain records and handle conference meetings with parents.

· Communicate effectively with school administration.

· Oversees and /or fill in as a counselor when needed.

Ensures Proper Infrastructure of Aftercare Program

· Ensures background check, drug screenings have been conducted on staff and all licensing department and accountant documents are up to date.

· Organizes, coordinate and lead staff to provide age specific lesson plans.

· Purchases material and documented them.

· Organizes and plans for camps (spring, summer, winter) and daily release days.

Oversees Finances of Aftercare Program

· Plans budget in coordination with Associate Director.

· Ensures compliance to Budget.

· Record in credit card collection and deposit payments by check, money order, cashier checks.

· Maintains accurate financial records in PROCARE system.

· Maintains up to date PROCARE data base of customers and staff.

· Ensure payroll is watched and documented daily.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with After School Connections and benefit policy. Will be discuss at time of interview. Employment is at will.

Job Requirements:

· High School Diploma, or higher.

· Two (2) years’ experience in childcare management.

· Special certifications, i.e. CPR-First Aid training (Director, Staff credentials) preferred.

· Computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), PROCARE.

· Requires fingerprint/background and drug check prior to start date.
