What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Aftenro Society Home for the Aged?
Aftenro Home is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help with the daily operations of the building and work with the EVS Manager to maintain the grounds and building.
Duties include, but are not limited to, grounds maintenance, snow removal and lawn care. Responsible for refuse collection and disposal, floor care, basic repair, painting, hanging pictures, assembling equipment, knowledge of alarm system, HVAC system. A special boilers license is a plus but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Proficient in English with strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of schematics.
- Experience in facilities maintenance and general maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and construction painting.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers and electrical systems.
- Welding skills and a valid Boiler License are preferred.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.29 per hour
