Summary
We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic to join our dedicated team at AFS Truck & Auto Repair Center. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service and reliability to our customers. This is a flat rate position.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues in both foreign and domestic vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify vehicle problems accurately.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about repairs needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with ADAS systems is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Experience with diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
