Warehouse Distribution Analyst (Quality Analyst)
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Warehouse Distribution Analyst (Quality Analyst) to support our Quality Department and distribution center operations. This position helps maintain food safety, cold chain integrity, sanitation standards, and accurate compliance records while coordinating training and preventive maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain quality and food safety documentation and records.
- Develop and report KPIs related to storage practices, cold storage operations, environmental management, quality, infrastructure, and maintenance.
- Conduct internal audits of Good Storage Practices and weekly pest control inspections.
- Record daily storage temperatures and perform monthly calibration of receiving thermometers.
- Verify cleaning activities comply with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate employee training and manage purchasing and inventory of cleaning and operational supplies.
- Monitor the annual preventive maintenance plan and coordinate timely completion of required activities.
- Track material handling equipment operating hours, inspect generator fuel levels and operating hours, and perform daily glycol refrigeration system inspections.
- Configure warehouse handheld devices.
- Review and approve service provider invoices for submission to Administration/Finance.
- Coordinate protective cold storage clothing laundry services and biweekly exchanges.
- Participate in HACCP, Food Defense, and Food Fraud teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Logistics, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Two to three years of experience in quality assurance, food safety, logistics, or cold chain operations.
- Experience conducting internal audits and verifying compliance with Good Storage Practices.
- Knowledge of HACCP, SSOPs, pest control programs, quality management systems, temperature control, and measuring equipment calibration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Advanced spoken and written English and native or professional proficiency in Spanish.
- Experience in refrigerated or frozen food warehouses and familiarity with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
