Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Photographer role based in Dover, DE. The Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality images during music education sessions, community events, and promotional activities while maintaining the organization’s creative vision. Responsibilities include editing and retouching photos, managing photo storage and archives, setting up lighting and equipment for shoots, collaborating with the creative team to produce compelling visual content, and ensuring photos align with the Foundation’s mission to promote music and cultural diversity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in photography, advanced photo editing, and retouching skills
- Experience with camera operation, lighting setups, and photography equipment
- Understanding of visual storytelling, creativity, and ability to align with organizational goals
- Time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with the team
- Understanding of cultural diversity and familiarity with music-related events is a significant advantage
- Previous experience in documentary, event, or portrait photography is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Photography, Visual Arts, or related fields is preferred
