We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Site Engineer specialized in road projects to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of road construction projects, including planning, design coordination, permitting, and execution.
- Develop detailed project schedules using advanced project scheduling tools to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Oversee construction inspection activities to verify compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with design engineers utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS software to review schematics and technical drawings.
- Coordinate permitting processes with local authorities during the permitting phase to facilitate smooth project progression.
- Utilize hydrological modeling tools such as SWMM and HEC to analyze stormwater systems and ensure effective stormwater management solutions.
- Manage project documentation including technical reports, hydrologic analyses, and system design reports while maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
Skills
- Extensive experience managing civil infrastructure projects with a focus on roadways and related systems.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam, Project scheduling tools, and CAD platforms including Civil 3D and MicroStation.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, hydraulics, stormwater systems, water/wastewater treatment processes, and land surveying techniques.
- Skilled in technical engineering report generation, hydrologic analysis tools like HEC-RAS and SWMM, and system design for civil infrastructure projects.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple tasks within strict deadlines; excellent client communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with GIS applications such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis and project planning purposes.
- Experience with construction estimating, project engineering responsibilities, schematics development, and managing the permitting phase from start to finish.
