Seeking Full Time Medical/Wound Care Scribe for Wound Care Practice.
Absolute Requirements:
- Experience with ICD 10/CPT Coding & Billing
- Experience in Medical Scribing
- Knowledge of General Medical and Wound Care Terminology
- Ability to Type Fast and Transcribe at a Fast Pace
- Experience dealing with Providers / Physicians
- Experience with EHR / EMR Systems
Responsibilities:
- Review Provider/Physician Wound Care Sheets/Notes and Accurately Transcribe them into EMR/EHR
- Coordinate with Physicians/Providers to ensure correctness and accuracy of transcribed information
- Review Insurance & Demographic Information for New Patients and look up and verify all Patient insurance information and transfer them into EHR/EMR.
- Review Notes and find inaccuracies and inconsistencies and alert Physicians/Providers.
- Collect, organize and catalog data for physician quality reporting system MIPS
Qualifications:
- At least High School Diploma
- LPN / RN Prefered
- Certification/Experience in Wound Care a Plus
- Experience with managing PDFs, Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint
