Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve district sales targets.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, cold calling and networking.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Foster strong relationships with existing clients while pursuing upselling opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions for upper management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within insurance sales or related fields.
- Experience training and developing new producers.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and retail dynamics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive results through motivation and leadership.
- Experience in conducting product demos with a focus on customer engagement.
