Job Description:

AFL is looking for motivated individuals to join our fiber splicing team! Experience in the Telecom industry is preferred but not required. We will fully train you to learn how to splice fiber optics and earn a great income. This includes underground and aerial splicing, as well as running fiber drops for our client. We service both residential and commercial customers.

Employment Requirements:

• Valid state driver’s license and non-negligent driving record
• Pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screening
• Ability to perform job activities in all weather conditions

Extreme heat/cold, rain, snow, inclement weather

• Capable of carrying, handling, and climbing 28-ft ladders
• Working at heights: IE Splicing fiber on utility poles and strands
• Weekend and Holiday work may be required
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently to achieve common goals in the field with little supervision

Preferred:

Telecom- Cable or Fiber Splicing Experience

Landscaping and/or physical labor
