Job Description:

This Operations Group position is responsible for coordinating and managing schedules to ensure smooth, efficient operations across various production departments.
Responsibilities
- Review shop drawings and other pertinent project information to identify and understand the scope of work for each project.
- Establish schedule milestones with the Plant Manager.
- Create job schedule for each individual job released, including all steps to be completed during fabrication for all parts within job.
- Coordinate with Production Control and Plant Manager to ensure job milestones are met during fabrication.
- Revise job schedules as needed to accommodate delays and/or changes to need dates.
- Initiate and lead job specific meetings with production team when job complexity requires it.
- Create spreadsheets for shipping department for unique parts required to be included with shipments.
- Assist Production Control with keeping track of where job specific parts are throughout fabrication.
- Attend weekly production meetings and record/update meeting minutes, print and distribute to team after meeting completion.
- Communicate progress of workflow toward achievement of project milestones to the Plant Manager.
- Other duties as required.
