Job Description:
- BENEFITS START DAY 1! ***
- Operation of light, medium and heavy equipment including forklift.
- Operation of various hand-operated tools related to steel fabrication.
- Must be able to use welding equipment or the ability to learn welding procedures.
- Sets up equipment including jigs and the loading of the raw material that are needed in the manufacturing process.
- Cleans and maintains workstation to be used daily in the production process.
- Regular, timely attendance to meet organizational needs in an efficient and effective manner.
- Performs special projects or assignments as directed.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior forklift and operator experience a plus
- Beginning level experience in MIG welding
- Team oriented
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
- Ability to obtain and operate mobile equipment needed to perform essential functions
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used
- Must be able to push or pull a cart with 80 pounds of force
