Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various welding techniques, including stick welding. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for assembling components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring high-quality standards in all work performed.
Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Assemble parts and structures using various tools and machinery.
- Operate a press brake machine for bending metal to required angles.
- Perform soldering tasks as needed for assembly processes.
- Utilize basic math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances for projects.
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks as required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 years of proven experience in welding and fabrication is preferred.
- Familiarity with machining processes is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Experience with stick welding techniques is highly desirable.

The approximate pay range for this position is $21 - $24 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
