Affton A Dana Company is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Railcar Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of railcars in three railyards within the metro KC area. As a Railcar Inspector, you will need to be comfortable with Microsoft Excel and have the ability to climb the ladder on a railcar to inspect seals on top hatches. **Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a Railcar Inspector or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software is required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or risks effectively.
- Physical ability to climb railcar ladders and perform inspections in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the work location.
**Working Hours:**
This is a full-time position with working hours from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
