What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A CDL Driver-STL position at Affton Terminal Services?
**Job Summary:**
Affton Transport is currently looking to hire Class A CDL Drivers with a minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer experience. We are looking for local, regional and OTR drivers home daily and weekly. Hazmat and tanker preferred but not required will compensate for acquiring those endorsements. **Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport and deliver goods over long distances in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs
- Report any issues or incidents to the dispatcher
**Qualifications:**
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
