  • 12-month position with district-recognized holidays, paid sick and personal leave, and 20 vacation days

  • Minimum starting salary $120,000, competitive salary commensurate with experience and education

JOB SUMMARY: Develops and implements strategic and annual plans focusing on coordination of K-12 career, technical education, and college readiness programs and funding. Supports the District’s instructional goals, administrative needs and communication functions to provide the most efficient and effective support for each program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field required.
  • Missouri Administrator certification required.
  • Successful experience in teaching (5 years minimum) and administration (3 years minimum).
  • Strong technology skills, including use of technology in the instructional process required.
  • Experience serving as a school or program administrator, director or coordinator preferred.
  • Preference to candidates with training/experience in the continuous improvement by design process.
  • Preference to candidates with knowledge of CTE (Career and Technical Education), PLTW (Project Lead the Way), CAPS (Centers for Advanced Professional Studies), Pathways Systems, Alternative Education programs.
  • Such modification of the above qualifications as the Board of Education shall deem appropriate.
  • Requires a strong work ethic and ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.
  • Requires evidence of a strong professional learning network that supports innovative practices.
  • Requires collaborative and interpersonal skills with willingness to learn and work productively on a team.
  • Requires evidence of ability to implement and sustain programs focused on improving student achievement within a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural school setting with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents and the community.

Key Components Position :

Assessment & Data Leadership

  • District Test Coordinator: Oversee all state (including MAP-A), district, and building-level assessments by collaborating with staff to ensure high-fidelity implementation.
  • Data Analysis & Strategy: Aggregate and analyze achievement data (ACT, SAT, PLTW, CCR) to formulate instructional recommendations and drive district-wide improvement.
  • Staff Coaching: Empower educators to use assessment systems and data effectively for evidence-based decision-making and student growth.

Federal Programs & Grant Management

  • Compliance & Fiscal Oversight: Manage federal programs and CTE grants (Perkins, Enhancement, 50/50, Base/Performance), ensuring alignment with legislation and district finance policies.
  • Consortium Leadership: Lead the Perkins consortium, facilitating annual MOU reviews and maintaining non-public school partnerships.

Career & Technical Education (CTE) & PLTW

  • Program Development: Direct K-12 CTE and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) programs, ensuring vertical curriculum alignment, industry standards, and instructor training.
  • Accountability & Improvement: Monitor program success through Common Criteria and Quality Indicators (CCQI) and Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA); collaborate with instructors on formal improvement plans.
  • Student Success Initiatives: Expand access to industry-recognized credentials, CTSOs, apprenticeships, and the CTE certificate through targeted promotion and resource allocation.

College & Career Readiness (CCR)

  • Pathway Systems: Facilitate the Pathways Systems Framework and A Schools Program to streamline college and career readiness processes.
  • Post-Secondary Alignment: Partner with counselors and college advisors to expand dual credit/enrollment opportunities, FAFSA completion, and purposeful course offerings.
  • 180-Day Follow-up: Coordinate mandatory graduation surveys and reporting to track student persistence and outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

  • External Liaison: Foster strategic partnerships with higher education, industry leaders, and local government to facilitate job shadowing, mentors, and teacher externships.
  • Curriculum Integration: Work with K-12 teachers to embed "soft skills," career competencies, and professional guest speakers into the core curriculum.

Systems Administration & Reporting

  • LMS Implementation: Lead the district Learning Management System (LMS) rollout and support for students, parents, and staff.
  • Board Reporting: Research emerging educational strategies and present formal program evaluations and legislative updates to the Board of Education.
