Cashier Duties & Requirements
Physical & General Requirements:
- Must be in excellent physical condition (some minor lifting involved)
- Able to stand for extended periods and move quickly when needed
- Comfortable with opening and closing responsibilities
Cashier & Money Handling:
- Count and reconcile drawers at the end of each shift with accuracy
- Comfortable handling cash and card transactions
- Maintain speed and accuracy at the register, especially during busy periods
Sales Floor Responsibilities:
- Stock and replenish new merchandise as needed
- Straighten and maintain assigned area of the sales floor
- Assist customers with purchases, questions, and directions
- Help oversee the overall appearance and flow of the sales floor
Communication & Teamwork:
- Communicate clearly and professionally with management, team members, and customers
- Take and follow direction well
- Ask questions or raise concerns when necessary to help the team run smoothly
Attitude & Work Ethic:
- Must be thick-skinned and able to stay cool under pressure
- Bring a positive, team-focused attitude to every shift
- Take initiative and show pride in maintaining a clean and organized store
Additional:
- General store cleaning duties as needed (sweeping, organizing, etc.)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
